Based in Greenwood, Indiana, One Click Ventures was founded in 2005 and has since grown rapidly to encompass nine eccommerce stores. Though currently concentrated in the discount fashion and travel spaces, the company is speedily expanding to other markets. One Click Ventures is profitable and self-funded.


A Start-up’s Success

One Click Ventures was born in the one room home office of husband and wife, Randy and Angie Stocklin, who launched the business using personal savings with the acquisition of one brand. The operation quickly outgrew the domestic quarters, which led to their securing warehouse space and building a team to support the rapid expansion. Angie and Randy then committed to cultivating a company of ecommerce and marketing experts in the Central Indiana area.

In an effort to effectively scale the multi-brand model and maintain control of the customer experience, the founders elected to bring technology, marketing, fulfillment and customer service in-house. With this move, the unique business model was sharpened and a sense of collective-purpose was honed, both key factors in One Click’s marked expansion.

The growth has been fueled by a sophisticated business development effort that identifies and acquires online properties that can be plugged into the One Click marketing engine to dramatically improve results in a short period of time. The marketing engine consists of a team of 13 subject matter experts in all facets of internet marketing. This includes SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, affiliate marketing, conversion optimization and content development.

One Click relies heavily on its talented team to master these channels and implement cutting-edge marketing techniques. The company recruits heavily in-state and currently has team members from Indiana University, Purdue, Butler, Ball State, IUPUI, Wabash, Franklin, University of Evansville and University of Indianapolis. Recruitment efforts are not limited to the immediate area however; the One Click team comprises diverse graduates hailing from Vanderbilt University, Florida State University and University of Kentucky.

Marketing efforts are entirely in-house and built to scale as the company continues to add stores to its growing portfolio.

One Click’s familial roots permeate the company philosophy. Though the One Click staff has grown significantly since its inception, the owners are committed to maintaining a family atmosphere, regardless of the size of the company.
