One Click Team Members at Walk for Wishes to Benefit the Make a Wish Foundation
Volunteer Involvement
One Click doesn’t think you have to be big to give back. We are committed to supporting the needs of our community with the time and talent OCV team members have to offer. From canned food drives to charity walks, the One Click team believes it is better to give than to receive and to have fun while doing it.
The team’s most recent project supported the ALS Association to help aide in the fight against Lou Gehrig Disease. On September 24th, One Click Ventures participated in the Central Indiana Walk to Defeat ALS® benefitting the ALS Association Indiana Chapter, however the walk was only one part of a series of One Click events to spread awareness and fundraise for the cause.
Winners of the 2011 Charity Pong Tournament to Benefit the ALS Association
Aside from working hard to ask family and friends for donations, OCV celebrated “80s Dress Up Day” in which members paid a small fee to participate, and all earnings went towards their team goal. On September 22nd, One Click cohosted Charity Pong with Formstack to raise money towards their Walk goals. One Click hosted a raffle at the event that featured a series of theme baskets with products from the Affordable Style Network stores. The charity ping pong tournament and raffle were held at Developer Town in Broad Ripple. Attendees enjoyed an evening of mingling with other companies, munching on Qdoba, and cheering for competing coworkers. All proceeds from the Charity Pong event were donated to the ALS Association Indiana Chapter and the Walk to Defeat ALS® efforts.
One Click Hosted an 80's Theme Day to Benefit the ALS Association
This summer, One Click participated in Walk for Wishes to help raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation’s goal of enhancing the human experience for children with life-threatening medical conditions. One Click also donated 80 pairs of colorful, children’s sunglasses to help designate the Wish Kids at the walk. The next project One Click intends to tackle is to help raise awareness and fundraise for the American Diabetes Association this fall.
Green Initiatives
Environmental conservation is at the top of One Click’s priority list and is infiltrated throughout the office. The company, as well as team members, actively recycles whenever possible; being environmentally friendly isn’t just encouraged, it is the norm at OCV. With the belief that every step counts, no matter how small, One Click utilizes products from recycled materials and provides environmentally friendly cleaning products and hand soap. This growing company aims to shrink its carbon footprint for the sake of the environment, our community, and future generations.
Charitable Giving
One Click donates time, money and products to help support our community and local charities. Our contributions help enrich the lives and experiences of those in our communities. We aim to have a positive impact on the health, wellness, and long-term growth of those connected with us and strive to contribute to the social and economic prosperity of those in need. The One Click team finds even more joy in the growth and success of the company when it is used to help others.
